On the way to southern France

By Car

If you come by car you should check the Internet to find a suitable route planner. There are guides with settings to lead you only over toll-free roads, which could help you save a good amount of money.

Parking at the Villa is free. Please note: arrival before 2pm is not possible.

You need a lift? Have a look at the surfer forums on EpicSurf or mitfahrgelegenheit.de. We can also ask amongst other guests arriving at the same time, if a lift might be possible. In case you are coming by plane or train, we recommend taking a rental car so that you can make trips to Hossegor or to Spain.

By Plane

There are many possibilities!

Biarritz is the closest airport to Seignosse. E.g. you can fly there with Ryanair from London or from Rotterdam with Trans Avia.
With Air Berlin you can go to Bilbao from Cologne, Berlin or Munich. Or you can fly from Paris (TUIfly, Easyjet and Air Berlin). In Paris Gare-Montparnasse there is a TGV every two hours that goes to Bayonne. From there you can take the regional bus line, RDTL, to Seignosse Le Penon and get off at the stop “Office de Tourisme.”

Most German airports offer flights to Bordeaux and Biarritz with Air France, KLM and Lufthansa.

KLM flies from Amsterdam to Bordeaux.

In Biarritz, you can take a bus to Bayonne, that stops at the central SNCF train station. There, you take the RDTL bus to Seignosse Le Penon, stop “Office de Tourisme”.
If you’re landing in Bordeaux Airport, you can take the Bus to Bordeaux’s central train station Saint Jean and from there take a train to St. Vincent de Tyrosse, where we can pick you up for a fee of 10,00 Euro.

By Train and Bus

TGV Europe has low priced offers to Paris if you book early. From Paris you can continue on to Bayonne. But Watch out! – In Paris you have to change stations! It’s fairly simple –  you only have to get on the Metro – but nevertheless, you should calculate around 2 hours for the transfer, just to be on the safe side.

If you’re arriving at Bilbao airport you can take a bus directly from the Airport-Terminal Bilbao to the city station Termibus. Here you will find a bus (Cepsa) to San Sebastian (station Amara) that leaves every hour. Once there, get on the EuskoTren to Hendaye, where you take the train to Bayonne. In Bayonne take the RDTL bus to Seignosse Le Penon station, “Office du Tourisme.”

Here is the timetable for the bus line 7 from Bayonne to Seignosse!
