Hossegor is about 5km away on a good cycle path directly behind the dune. A worthwhile short trip during the day for strolling and eating ice cream. It’s also fun in the evening with lots of bars and live music acts. 2km further on is the harbour town of Capbreton. Around the marina there is a mile with countless restaurants, something for every taste. TIP: Seafood and fresh fish, fish market.

The Pedebert Zone in Soorts-Hossegor is home to the outlet shops of well-known surf brands such as Billabong, Carhartt, Rip-Curl, etc. You can hunt down a bargain or two here. A short excursion to the “white” and “black” lakes of Seignosse is pure enjoyment of nature. An almost primeval forest-like biotope that can be accessed via a wooden footbridge. Guided tours are also offered. You can walk halfway around the lake and return to Seignosse via the small town of Soustons.

The nature reserve “Marais d’Orx” in the coastal town of Labenne is a special experience for nature lovers. Countless species of birds, lizards, beavers and insects cavort here. Explore on wooden paths above the water and on footpaths along the lakeshore. Approx. 20km.
